Description
Gain a better understanding of the rules and requirements of medical collections.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has a new focus on the billing, collection, and credit reporting of medical debt. Areas of recent regulation and increased regulatory scrutiny cover the waterfront of fair billing, debt collection, credit reporting practices, the new No Surprises Act, and a heightened focus on debts owed to nursing homes and other longterm care facilities for their caregiving services. This course will provide those who work in the credit billing, collection, and reporting industries with a basic understanding of these laws and regulations in the context of discussing helpful compliance techniques.
