Learn how legacy leaders and newer entrants in this space can establish leadership in SME banking.The small business banking landscape has changed and evolved significantly over the last few years. The space has suddenly attracted interest from multiple archetypes of players in the industry mega banks, regional banks, midcap banks, payments, fintechs, and nonfinancial players. This presentation will help participants understand how legacy leaders (e.g., banks) and newer entrants in this space (e.g., payments players, fintechs, and nonfinancial players) could establish leadership in SME banking. Further, participants will develop a deeper understanding of what leaders in the SMB space do differently today and what is needed for leaders of the future, including launching a distinctive value proposition. This topic would be helpful for participants who are already aware of the SMB banking space and newer participants interested in attacking the SMB banking space.
