Description
Be a Better Ally to All In the workforce, we want people to be able to fully show up and do their best work. Being an ally can create an environment where both the employee and those served by a company have the most successful interactions possible.
By acknowledging privilege and power in the workforce, this webinar will teach you important listening skills to stay curious and ask better questions.
You will learn to leave room for accurate information in everyone’s experiences and promote a better work environment.
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a working definition of “Being an Ally” that is motivating and positive and not based on a deficit or perfection model.
- Clearly reflect of the role of perception, judgment, and assumption, and why we need to make them, and how we need to leave room for accurate information.
- Develop important listening skills to stay in curiosity and ask better questions.
- Create a self-learning plan to “do our own homework.”
