This topic is designed for intermediate-level attendees. We will discuss common myths and mistakes employers make managing employee compensation in the ever-changing economic environment. We will discuss common scenarios and pitfalls to avoid when managing employee absence and the complex interaction between FMLA, ADA and state paid sick leave programs. Finally, we will also discuss how to handle common workplace conduct scenarios as well as how and where training can best be incorporated.
